Connie: I have been the voice of our
Congressman the past two campaigns as well
as this year's slugfest. Since he and I are on
the same page with political philosophies I
have no problem with being the paid
talking head. If we were on opposite ends
the "actor" in me would make it happen. But
I wouldn't refuse the work if it's within the
same party. I turned down the spots for the
local sheriff's race because he was not in the
same party as our congressman, even though
my daughter is a registered nurse for the
department and he would clearly the best choice for the job.
