: OK, after you've got the contract, done the work, now, what media do you use (or recommend) for delivery and how do you deliver it? Also, anybody recording, encoding and uploading MP3 files to clients? What software do you recommend? How about reel, DAT, Mini-disc? Experienced answers only. Thanks "partners"!

Gary:

Connie's 500-pound Gorilla answer is undoubtedly best(However the client WANTS it delivered). That said, I've been having great success delivering mp3 files via e-mail and the Internet. Sure, I can do CDR, DAT and reel. But file transfer saves on both media and shipping and it's faster (let's see, cheaper, faster and good quality... aren't I supposed to be limited to two of them?).

If you're interested, you'll find some links to file transfer resources in my website's "Internet Audio Primer."

Good luck,
Kevin
