I've been reading many of the letters here, and the vast majority of them inspire me to stay on track with my voiceover goals. After 20 years of radio, I'm now dedicated to doing whatever it takes to becoming a full-time vo artist. Already, I'm seeing that talent is a big part of what is needed to do this, but drive, dedication, persistence and the willingness to invest in my own development seems to be a BIG part also.
My biggest block now is making the transition from cutting back on a demanding full time radio gig to free up the time needed to work at my own studio and develop my talents and business...oh yea..and pay the bills too!!!!
But as the late, great Jim Valvano said.."Don't give up..Don't you ever give up"!! I know i won't..don't you either.
